Mic Interface Cable Fabrication

The page describes fabricating an interfacing cable assembly between a current Yaesu Transceiver such as the FTDX10 or the FT-710 with a suitable boom-mic headset such as the Bose QC35 Series 2 Gaming Headset.  The Bose QC35 Gaming Headset seems to be a great small, good quality, boom mic headset bought mainly to travel within the RV.  I use it with my Mac laptop (direct plug-in) and with the Yaesu FTDX10 (using this Mic Interface Cable Assembly).  The Bose QC35 Gaming Headset’s wired connection is with an industry-standard CTIA configured 3.5mm TRRS Plug (compatible with Apple, laptops, etc.).
